Abraham Lincoln High School Families,
This is to inform you that on Monday, April 15th and 16th will be an “On-campus Lunch Day”. During the past week, we’ve had multiple challenges with students arriving late from lunch.
We have given our students repeated instructions via school-wide announcements before the beginning of the lunch period to follow the bell schedule and be on time from lunch, ready to learn in Period 5 by returning to school by 1:05pm.
Students will stay on campus and utilize the hot lunch and healthy options our cafeteria offers. The Cafeteria also offers a Salad & Fruit Bar. No food Delivery will be accepted at the school unless it is a parent or Guardian dropping off food for lunch.
For the safety of all students, we hope you understand the importance of returning to school on time. Also, please remind your students about properly crossing the streets at designated crosswalks. Running across streets at a non-designated crosswalk is not only dangerous but can also result in a ticket/fine from DPD.
Our Neighboring Businesses have nothing but positive feedback from our Off-Campus Lunch Experience. Let us continue to positively represent Lincoln and ourselves in the Lincoln Way.

lunes 15 y 16 de abril
será un “Día de almuerzo en el campus”
Familias de la escuela Preparatoria Abraham Lincoln,
Le informamos que el lunes 15 y 16 de abril será el “Día de almuerzo en el campus”. Durante la semana pasada, tuvimos múltiples desafíos con los estudiantes que llegaron tarde del almuerzo.
hemos dado a nuestros estudiantes instrucciones repetidas a través de anuncios en toda la escuela antes del comienzo del período de almuerzo para que sigan el horario de campana y lleguen a tiempo al almuerzo, listos para aprender en el período 5 regresando a la escuela a la 1:05 p.m.
Los estudiantes permanecerán en el campus y utilizarán el almuerzo caliente y las opciones saludables que ofrece nuestra cafetería. La cafetería también ofrece una barra de ensaladas y frutas. No se aceptará entrega de alimentos en la escuela a menos que sea un padre o tutor quien deje comida para el almuerzo.
Por la seguridad de todos los estudiantes, esperamos que comprendan la importancia de regresar a la escuela a tiempo. Además, recuerde a sus estudiantes que deben cruzar correctamente las calles en los cruces peatonales designados. Cruzar calles en un cruce de peatones no designado no solo es peligroso sino que también puede resultar en una multa del DPD.
Nuestras empresas en el vecindario no tienen más que comentarios positivos sobre nuestra experiencia de almuerzo fuera del campus. Sigamos representando positivamente a Lincoln y a nosotros mismos al estilo Lincoln.
