Showing Up Matters

Students and Families: there are only 3 and a half weeks of school until final exams! Students, be sure to turn in all of your work and come to tutoring if you need help. Tutoring: After school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3:45-4:45pm in Room 19 on the Ground Floor. You do not have to be referred to come, just come on down!

12-week Progress Report grades will be sent to parents and students via email Friday Nov 10.

Important Dates:

Nov 13th – Winter Sports begin

Nov 16th – Mandatory Winter Sports Parent Meeting

If your student is playing a Winter sports you will have to attend this meeting

Nov 20th – Nov 24th – Thanksgiving Break (No School).

Mon, Nov 27th – Students Return to School 8:15am.

Abraham Lincoln High School (ALHS) in southwest Denver and the Denver Scholarship Foundation will join the National First-Generation College Student Day celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 8, by highlighting concurrently enrolled high school/college students on the path to a college degree.

Lancers presenting Dia de los Muertos Ofrendas at the REGIS Campus! We won the competition! Back to Back (2022 and 2023)

Every Year our Spanish AP and Path to a Spanish Minor classes fill up our main hall with ofrendas. At the end of the Dia De Los Muertos Celebration Lancers have a School-wide contest to vote for the top three Altars.

Estando Presente es la Meta

Estudiantes y familias: ¡solo quedan 3 semanas y media de clases para los exámenes finales! Estudiantes, asegúrese de entregar todo su trabajo y asistir a tutoría si necesita ayuda. Tutoría: después de clases los martes, miércoles y jueves de 3:45 a 4:45 p. m. en el salón 19 en la planta baja. No es necesario que te recomienden para venir, ¡simplemente ven!

Las calificaciones del Informe de progreso de 12 semanas se enviarán a los padres y estudiantes por correo electrónico el viernes 10 de noviembre.

Fechas Importantes:

13 de noviembre – Comienzan los deportes de invierno

16 de noviembre – reunión obligatoria para padres sobre deportes de invierno.

Si su estudiante practica deportes de invierno, tendrá que asistir.

20 – 24 de noviembre – Vacaciones de Acción de Gracias (no hay clases).

Lunes, 27 de noviembre: Los estudiantes regresan a la escuela a las 8:15 am.

La Preparatoria Abraham Lincoln (ALHS) en el suroeste de Denver y la Fundación de Becas de Denver se unirán a la celebración del Día Nacional del Estudiante Universitario de Primera Generación el miércoles 8 de noviembre, destacando a los estudiantes de secundaria y universitarios matriculados simultáneamente en su camino hacia un título universitario.

¡Los de Lincoln presentando las Ofrendas del Día de los Muertos en el universidad REGIS! ¡Ganamos el concurso! segundo año consecutivo.

Cada año, nuestras clases de español AP y Path to a Spanish Minor llenan nuestro salón principal con ofrendas. Al final de la celebración del Día de los Muertos, los lanceros tienen un concurso en toda la escuela para votar por los tres mejores altares.
