Calysta “CJ,” is selected as this year’s Outstanding Female Athlete at Abraham Lincoln High School for many reasons. Her commitment to academic and athletic excellence represent only a part of who she is and who she will become in the future. Here is a small sample of the things that make Calysta Jackson our Outstanding Athlete of the year at Abraham Lincoln High School.

Lets begin with colors: CJ has not one but three favorite colors; blue, black and white. I hoped Grey (Lincoln colors) but black will do for now….

She enjoys watching horror mystery movies like “Scream” and “Get out.”

Like many at Lincoln High School, CJ Loves sweets including her favorite flavor; Chocolate. However, Chocolate does not remotely compare to her favorite food of all time – Chicken Fajitas and it’s her mom’s recipe stands ALONE at the top and as she says, “It’s not even close.!”

CJ also enjoys the arts; including painting and reading Poem books. Being so well rounded, her pragmatic side pushes her to help people in need and also helps her parents at home. Her strong interest in the arts are propelling her academic interests as well. CJ plans on studying Graphic Design after High School and plans on initially attending Arapahoe Community College and then transferring her talents to a 4 year institution. CJ always demonstrated leadership, responsibility and creative drive will always carry Calysta to be a great leader in the future.
