COVID UPDATES
CHSAA announced that the start date for Season B sports would be pushed back in response to the current statewide health conditions. At this time, DPS has approved for us to move forward as outlined below.
In alignment with the start of CHSAA Season B, DPS schools will be allowed to operate the indoor Season B sports of boys and girls basketball, girls swimming and competitive cheer based on the following timeline only if we are not in red or purple on the CDPHE dial:
Additional information regarding wrestling and sideline cheer will be made available as further guidance on variances and safety protocols become available from CDPHE/CHSAA.
Details regarding events will be shared as additional direction becomes available from CDPHE/CHSAA/local health department.
In alignment with CDPHE guidance, if Denver is in levels red or purple, we will NOT proceed with indoor access for conditioning and fitness or the start of CHSAA Season B.
Here are general and sport specific guidelines.

When and how do I register for a sport? If / when a sport is approved by DPS, FamilyID registration will open that sport. Once your sport opens, you will need to register, pay, and upload your current physical into FamilyID. If you are a freshman or new to ALHS, you will also need to register on Big Teams for eligibility purposes (see below). This is the same process as previous years with the change of uploading your physical instead of dropping it off at the athletics office. If you have questions or trouble uploading your physical please email a copy of your physical to nicole_medina@dpsk12.org.
FAMILYID INFORMATION:
We are excited to offer the convenience of online registration and parent permission forms through FamilyID. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE ONLINE
Returning Lancers need to log into their FamilyID account, update info as needed, register for sport, and pay fees. First time Registering Lancers will need to create a FamilyID profile and answer all of the emergency contact information, etc. in addition to registering and payment of fees. If there is not an N/A option for medical questions, please just answer no.
NOTE: If you do not have a Parent Portal account, go to https://myportal.dpsk12.org, click on Getting Started and complete the Registration Form. You will receive an email with account activation instructions. Once your Parent Portal account is set up, follow the steps above.
