Dear Abraham Lincoln High School Community,
We are excited to announce that Néstor Bravo has been selected as the next long-term principal of Abraham Lincoln High School for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. This was also supported through a vote of recommendation by the Collaborative School Committee (CSC) and a collaborative interview with our district and school leader panel. We would also like to thank Principal Antonio Esquibel for his leadership and commitment to Abraham Lincoln High School. We are grateful for Principal Esquibel’s commitment to the Lincoln community starting as a Lincoln graduate. He has been such a gift to the Lincoln community in roles as a teacher, coach, Dean, Assistant Principal and Principal, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact that he has made and his commitment to our community. Please join us in thanking Principal Esquibel for his service. We are confident Principal Bravo will continue to build upon Lincoln’s strong foundation of success for students while continuing to ensure Lincoln is a safe and welcoming school for all.
Principal Bravo is an experienced and dedicated educator who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Principal role at Abraham Lincoln. Prior to his leadership at Lincoln, Principal Bravo spent over seven years leading at Charles M. Schenck (CMS) Community School where he dramatically increased their academic performance. Mr. Bravo began his career in Denver Public Schools as an Advance Placement (AP) Spanish Language and Advance Placement (AP) Spanish Literature teacher at Abraham Lincoln High School. Principal Bravo has collaborated with students, staff, families, and the community to ensure a rich and engaging educational experience for all. His vision is to inspire and empower all students to reach their full potential and prepare them for meaningful and successful futures. We are delighted to have him continue to serve the Abraham Lincoln school community!
A huge thank you and our sincerest gratitude goes out to the Collaborative School Committee (CSC) for their commitment and for being an integral representation of the Abraham Lincoln community. This committee served the school community well and their unwavering commitment to the ongoing success of Abraham Lincoln was apparent.

Nos complace anunciarles que Néstor Bravo ha sido elegido como el próximo director permanente de la Escuela Preparatoria Abraham Lincoln para el año escolar 2024-2025 y en lo sucesivo. Esta decisión también contó con el respaldo del voto de recomendación del Comité Escolar de Colaboración (CSC) y de una entrevista colaborativa con nuestro panel de líderes escolares y del distrito. A su vez, nos gustaría agradecer al director Antonio Esquibel por su liderazgo y compromiso con la Escuela Preparatoria Abraham Lincoln, donde comenzó como graduado de esta escuela. Ha sido una verdadera bendición para la comunidad de Lincoln en su función como maestro, instructor, decano, subdirector y director, y agradecemos profundamente el impacto positivo que ha tenido y su compromiso con nuestra comunidad. Agradezcamos todos por su servicio.
