Dear Lancers:

I hope you and your family are safe and healthy as we get ready to return to school!  We are excited to begin the school year and want to make sure you have the necessary information to have a successful start. We are launching new programs and support for all Lincoln students for the 21-22 school year.

Our focus on each student is CONNECT, PREPARE AND SUCCESS!  Each of you is important and we will do everything we can for you to have a successful and enjoyable experience at Abraham Lincoln High School. Each of you will have the opportunity to earn college credit for free, earn an Industry Certificate, take Advanced Placement Courses and earn a 2 year Associates’ Degree. At Abraham Lincoln, our expectation is that every student will be prepared to be successful after high school and our goal is for each of you to attend a college and have an amazing career.

What will school look like?

At this time, all classes are planned to run in-person learning on a regular schedule. Students need to be at Lincoln no later than 8:15 am for an 8:25 am start time and will end at 4:15 pm. We will have an early dismissal on Thursdays, as the school day for students will end at 3:25 pm. The District has not informed us about whether masks will be required during school or not. For the health and safety of everyone, we do encourage everyone to get vaccinated if you are not already and respectfully practice social distancing.

Vaccines

Vaccines are an important tool in our toolbox to stop the spread of COVID-19.  If you, your student, or someone in your family has not been vaccinated, check out the DPS Vaccination website for details:  https://www.dpsk12.org/coronavirus/vaccine/.
