ALHS is excited to begin the Principal Selection Process this spring. As ALHS begins a new chapter, we know this is a tremendous opportunity to select a leader with the bold vision, character and skills to move ALHS forward. We want our community members to know what to expect as we begin the search for a new school leader. ALHS considers selecting a new Principal as one of the essential components when building highly effective schools.
Please find the timeline of the process steps in the Principal process letter (English) / Carta de proceso Director de escuela (Espanol) / Thư về Quá Trình Chọn Lọc Hiệu Trưởng (Tiếng Việt). This will provide an overview of the process and give a better understanding as to what to expect and what the commitments are should you decide to apply to be a part of this SPSAC.
ALHS highly values the voices of all our stakeholders. To honor this, we would like your input in determining the characteristics you would like see in the principal. You may provide your input at Community Feedback Survey (English), Questionario de la comunidad de ALHS (Espanol), Đầu vào cộng đồng – Quy trình tuyển chọn hiệu trưởng ALHS(Tiếng Việt) or you may pick up a hard copy of the survey in the ALHS main office. Please submit the survey by 8 am, Monday, April 8, 2019.
We are also seeking staff, students, parents and community members to serve on the School Principal Selection Advisory Committee for the interview process. If you are interested in participating, please submit your application by completing a ALHS Principal Search Advisory Committee Application / Solicitud para formar parte del Comité Asesor para la Selección del Director de Escuela / Ứng dụng Ủy ban Tư vấn Tìm kiếm Hiệu trưởng ALHS, or pick up an application in the ALHS main office.
