• Class begins at 8:30 AM | La clase comienza a las 8:30 AM

• Class ends at 3:45 PM M,T,F | La clase termina a las 3:45 p.m lunes, martes, viernes.

• Every Thursday is an early release day, with classes dismissed at 1:25 PM | Todos los jueves es un día de salida temprana y las clases salen a la 1:25 p.m.

• Wednesdays are College Wednesdays. Every Student must attend Lancer Family to learn about school announcements, complete grade checks and receive college and career supports |Los miércoles son “Miércoles Universitarios”. | Cada estudiante debe asistir a Lancer Family para conocer los anuncios escolares, completar verificaciones de calificaciones y recibir apoyo universitario y profesional.

• Period 0: Teachers are available from 8:15 am – 8:30 am before Period 1 for students to get extra help to raise their grade or get caught up in class.

• Every Thursday (Half Day) is a Tutorial block, a mandatory period for students to receive targeted academic support. Every student is required to attend Thursday tutorial. | Cada jueves hay un bloque de Tutoría, un período obligatorio para que los estudiantes reciban apoyo académico específico. Se requiere que todos los estudiantes asistan a la tutoría del jueves.

At Abraham Lincoln High School, we believe that loss of instructional time equals loss of learning and increases the chances that a student will underperform in, or fail, a class or classes. As part of our mission to foster an environment of high expectations that will empower students to reach their full potential, we have set a 90% attendance goal for all students, and the expectation that students attend every class. Below you will find Lincoln’s In-School Policies and Bell Schedules. All Lincoln students and staff are expected to follow our In-School Policies while attending Lincoln.

After 4 Absences, ALHS Attendance Liaisons will be contacting students and parents to improve the attendance rate.
