Lancer Connect for September 18th

6-week grades Close September 29th.

• Students can utilize our Tuesday & Thursday Tutorial 10:07-10:36 am or connect with teachers to see what is needed to raise their grade.
• Tutorial is also available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school in room 119.
• “YESS Mentoring” meets after school Tuesday, & Thursday.

• ALHS is hosting the Colorado Council College Fair on September 29th, 1:00 – 2:00, outside on the SE side of Lincoln! Seniors will all come to the Fair with their 5th period class on this day. 40 in and out of state colleges and universities will be in attendance. Students will prepare for the Fair in Advisement class and will have opportunities to talk to representatives and have all their questions answered.

School Counselors

School counselors support students in three domains: academic, socioemotional, and post-secondary planning. Please call or email us to set up an appointment. We are available throughout the year if you have questions or concerns. 

OTG status by credits:

Counselors meet with all students at least once per semester to discuss their progress towards graduation. In addition to these meetings, we notify guardians of students that are behind in credits and off-track to graduate with their class through letters. Off-track letters will be mailed home the week of the 3rd for students in 10th and 11th grade. All Seniors will receive letters home indicating their on or off track status. More information about graduation requirements in DPS is available here. 

Senior Meetings:

Counselors will start meeting with Seniors to review their graduation status and all the requirements. We meet with students individually if they are off track and in small groups if they are on-track, and also discuss post-secondary plans, & connect them with the Future Center.

Los consejeros escolares apoyan a los estudiantes en tres áreas: planificación académica, socioemocional y postsecundaria. Llámenos o envíenos un correo electrónico para programar una cita. Estamos disponibles durante todo el año si tiene preguntas o inquietudes.

Estado de OTG por créditos:

Los consejeros se reúnen con todos los estudiantes al menos una vez por semestre para analizar su progreso hacia la graduación. Además de estas reuniones, notificamos a los tutores de los estudiantes que están atrasados en créditos y fuera de camino para graduarse con su clase a través de cartas. Las cartas fuera de curso se enviarán a casa la semana del 3 para los estudiantes de 10.º y 11.º grado. Todos los Seniors recibirán cartas a casa indicando si están dentro o fuera del camino. Reuniones de personas DE GRADO 12:

Los consejeros comenzarán a reunirse con los estudiantes del último año para revisar su estado de graduación y todos los requisitos. Nos reunimos con los estudiantes individualmente si no están bien encaminados y en grupos pequeños si están bien encaminados, y también discutimos planes postsecundarios y los conectamos con el Future Center.
